Back in NC

I took the first train ride (12 hrs) that I remember yesterday from Toronto to Albany, NY then turned around and rode for about 11 hrs to NC so I am too pooped to pop.  Sadly it's not a pleasure visit, my mom passed on Monday and I'm here for her funeral.  I'm so glad that I've seen and talked to her recently. I can't imagine how I'd feel if we hadn't been in contact.

The outpouring of love from my friends has been very heartening. A long weekend ahead followed by a long week back.
