I haven't blogged in so long I swear I don't remember how.
Our internet has been practically non existent the last few months and my blogger app doesn't work so so I fell out of the habit. But I am kicking myself in the bit to eat back at it. 

Happy news, I have my conditional baptism coming up next weekend and yesterday we bought rings. The bing I like most about our rings is since we decided not to go with a matched set we both got something that suits us. My ring is yellow gold which is making me think about my collar. I'm wondering if Das will want to exchange it for a yellow gold necklace to keep a color theme going. 

Life has been good if a bit hectic while at the same time being kinda dull. I've been having too much fun making singing/dancing videos which makes my cardio a breeze. They always say do something you love and you'll be inclined to keep it up. They have a valid point. There has also been bedroom rearrangement and the addition of lavender to cedar balls for the drawers. I'm pretty proud of myself for researching and obtaining both the cedar balls and the lavender essential oil. It's my first step into essential oil land and I must say there is something nice about my room smelling so happy. I've even gotten better sleep. Not exactly good sleep but better. 

I'm over halfway done with class and confirmation is within spitting distance. Although I hope there will be no actual spitting at confirmation, eww. Now I'm trying to decide if a new dress is in order for the rewedding. Now that it is nearly dawn I'm getting sleepy.

Apperently the club isn't just an American thing.  I was just sitting chatting and minding my business when a flow of older black women walked by all saying hello and good to see you and see you later. The person I was speaking to asked me when I had met them and I laughed and told her that I had never seen any of them before. Das explained to her that this is a pretty common occurrence for me. He gets tickled whenever he witnesses it.  I guess some things aren't country specific.

Coffee

Last night we went to a coffee tasting. Now let it be known that I categorically do not like the taste of coffee but Das does so there you have it.  I drank tiny cup after tiny cup of heavily creamed/sugared coffee trying to discern roundness, smokey aftertones, citrus hints and whatnot. One cup tasted woodsie to me but that was about all I got and no one else knew what I was talking about so I'm going to have to say that my skills as a coffee taster are sorely lacking. It was a fun event though, lots of laughing and chatting about all types of stuff. In fact one might have suspected the coffee had been spiked with something alcoholic if one was simply observing the flushed cheeks and cheery demeanor of the participants. I got the opposite of buzzed though. Each cup brought me closer to falling over in my chair. By the time we left which really wasn't very late at all, I could barely be upright. Update Quickie

Christmas was good. We had a nice trip to the inlaws and we we got there the chocolate consumption was high. :) I'm rather amazed that I didn't gain more weight frankly because I always eat more there, I swear they put something in the food. We all exchanged presents and everyone seemed happy with what they got. I know I was. I got sparkly things and lotions, stuff I love. His mom is pretty perceptive because even though I always get girly things she never gives me nail polish which is good seeing as how I don't wear it. I am going to have a stellar collection of gloves though since I still have the ones from last year. Of course at this time of year there is no such thing as too many gloves. It snowed a few days, stayed sunny for Christmas and started sleeting the next morning. I'm glad we only made a day trip, driving home in that mess would have been horrible.
