Dog Talk

So we went to the shelter yesterday to check out a few dogs. One thing I was struck by was how few dogs they had. They even had a couple imported from out of country. I'm guessing Toronto does not have a major pet overpopulation problem.

The next thing we noticed was that most of the dogs were either not available to be adopted for health reasons or had major behavioral problems. The one we liked best had been adopted and returned twice for aggression. The others were all tiny dogs which don't seem to be very popular here.

We thought about taking the aggressive pup but in the end after much research on getting him behavioral training so that he could hopefully integrate with us nicely we realized the initial cost was way high (over 3k) and the risk that he still might not be dog friendly was too much of a chance to take.

So for now no new dog for molloy to play with.
