Local Scene?

Looking at groups on Fet today in the new area it seems to me that if there is a kink scene here it's not to be found online. That is even more applicable when looking for a local M/s scene.  As much as I'd enjoy meeting others with such a thing in common it doesn't seem likely as an intentional thing, more likely something we'd find out about newly made friends as time goes on. That may actually be a better way as it doesn't give an inflated sense of intimacy before we all actually know each other born of a shared relationship style. Not that such things aren't common ways to make friends, why else do people build their communities around their churches and find friends among their leisure activities after all.  Nothing to be done in any case but to wait and see.
