My Saturday
Shopping experiences so far have been unilaterally positive. I've been smiled at, offered help, and not once followed around. Must say I can get used to this. Staff is helpful but not all up in your face when you just want to browse, not always an easy balance to strike so when it's done well i notice.
We are currently staying at a hotel that does not allow pets. The manager called today to let us know that since they don't allow pets and we have two dogs we will need to call the office and let her know when we will be out of the room so that the housekeeper can clean it. Somehow that wasn't exactly how I envisioned the conversation going...
Today I went a an off leash dog park for the first time. It was a bit nerve racking once people started showing up with all those strange dogs romping about but overall it was good until an intact rather large dog decided she was going to be top bitch and Didi took umbrage with that notion. That was bad enough but then Molloy started mounting her because no one else is going to bully his Didi damn it, lol. We decided after a few minutes that it would be best to remove the pups before things got out of hand. Catahoulas are known to be very dominant dogs so it could have devolved. Molloy is fixed but only a bit over a month ago and from what I understand it takes a while for the testosterone levels to go down. Maybe they need more socializing.
I am now the proud owner of mittens! Haven't had mittens since I was in elementary school but these have a water resistant shell with thinsulate inside. I also have ear muffs and 5 new pairs of leggings, as well as a steal of an awesome sweater. I can already tell that the Bay is going to eat my money, lol. Wonder what are doing tomorrow.
