Humidity

It is funny how many people talk about how humid Austin is as I always found it rather dry. My skin and hair were dryer than they'd ever been while living there too. Since we've moved I'm not so dry. My lips aren't chapped constantly and yesterday I noticed my hair was soft and even oily at the root which is highly unusual. The downside is my face has been breaking out more but I suppose it will take a while for the oil production to level off with the new environment. 

I'm wondering how this is going to affect my hair growth. I think it grew slower while living in TX than in NC or CA and I've never been sure if it was age or the lack of moisture or perhaps a combination. I guess we'll see over the next year.
